If you have a .bak file corresponding to a database backup, even from previous versions of SQL,
you can restored very quickly with this steps:
- Right click Databases on left pane (Object Explorer)
- Click Restore Database…
- Choose Device, click ..., and add your .bak file
- Click OK, then OK again
and that is it! Enjoy it!
